When her mother sends her to Lom\u00e9 for the first time to restock goods, Manavi is captivated by the beauty of the Wax she discovers at the market. Back in Ts\u00e9vi\u00e9, she begins to dream of becoming a Wax reseller. Lacking the means, she starts by selling cheaper fabrics called Tchivi\u2014and finds quick success. Defying her parents\u2019 wishes, she moves to Lom\u00e9, determined to make her mark in a world ruled by men and privilege.
