Il r\u00eave d\u2019y faire fortune jusqu\u2019au jour o\u00f9 il rencontre Yendi, fille du major du village. Cette derni\u00e8re, r\u00e9dactrice dans le journal scolaire de son lyc\u00e9e, profite de ses vacances pour faire un dossier sur l\u2019exploitation mini\u00e8re des enfants. Une succession d\u2019\u00e9v\u00e8nement les rapproche. Un rapprochement bref car la jeune fille retourne tr\u00e8s vite \u00e0 sa vie mais les discussions profondes qu\u2019elle a eu avec le jeune orpailleur bouleverse ses projets.
