Elle est \u00e9gyptienne et fran\u00e7aise.<\/p>\n<p>En 1990, elle a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 r\u00e9aliser et produire des documentaires pour Arte, la BBC, PBS\u2026 Son film le plus r\u00e9cent est \u00ab Nasser \u00bb, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 s\u00e9lectionn\u00e9 en 2016 au Festival International de Toronto.<\/p>\n<p>Jihan El-Tahri est aussi engag\u00e9e aupr\u00e8s de plusieurs associations et institutions travaillant avec le cin\u00e9ma africain, notamment la Guilde des R\u00e9alisateurs Africains de la Diaspora, la F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Panafricaine de Cin\u00e9ma (FEPACI), et le programme \u201cFocus Feature\u2019s Africa\u201d.
